IZUMIO - Q&A

IZUMIO

Q: What sort of water is IZUMIO?

A: IZUMIO is a beverage product containing dissolved hydrogen. Also, the original mineral content is preserved in the water, which makes it delicious for drinking.

Q: When and how much IZUMIO should I drink?

A: You can drink IZUMIO at any time of the day. You are recommended to drink one pack a day. IZUMIO is suitable for everyone, from the young to the elderly.

Q: What is the pH value of IZUMIO?

A: IZUMIO is pH neutral. It can be consumed without any burden to the body. (Note: The pH scale measures acidity or alkalinity.)

Q: For how long does hydrogen remain in the product after it has been opened?

A: Hydrogen escapes easily once the pack has been opened. You are therefore advised to consume IZUMIO as soon as possible after opening the pack. Close the cap tightly to store the contents of an unfinished pack. To minimise the escape of hydrogen, you are advised to drink IZUMIO directly from the pack.

Q: Where should I store IZUMIO?

A: IZUMIO can be stored at normal room temperature. To preserve product quality, you are advised to store it in a refrigerator or a cool dark place away from direct sunlight and high temperature.

Q: How long is the shelf life of IZUMIO?

A: The best before/expiry date is 15 months (1 year 3 months) from the date of manufacture and is indicated on the carton. However, you are advised to consume IZUMIO as soon as possible as its hydrogen content gradually decreases over time.

Q: Can I freeze IZUMIO?

A: Freezing does not have an adverse effect on the hydrogen. However, you are not advised to store IZUMIO in the freezer. Frozen IZUMIO pack can easily break when dropped.

Q: Can I drink IZUMIO with my medicine?

A: Yes. No adverse reactions have been reported in interactions between IZUMIO and medication. However, as the medicine or supplement product in your mouth may flow backwards into the IZUMIO pouch or get stuck in the straw, we do not advise you to do so.

Q: What does “ppm” mean?

A: "ppm" stands for "parts per million" and is a unit that expresses concentration or ratio. It is used here to indicate the concentration of hydrogen in IZUMIO.
1.0mg/l = 1.0ppm. 3.3mg/l, or 3.3ppm※, is the ratio of dissolved hydrogen in IZUMIO.

Note: Percentage (%) = 1/100; ppm =1/1,000,000; ppb=1,000,000,000, ppt=1/1,000,000,000,000
